United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) is an effort to bring together area resources to effectively and efficiently address the growing needs of families in 9 counties throughout southwest Minnesota.

UCAP service area includes the nine counties of Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, Meeker, McLeod, Renville, and Redwood, plus services in the four additional counties of Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, and Rock.
UCAP has eleven outreach office locations:

- Morton – Lower Sioux
UCAP is a private, non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the low income, public, and private sectors of the community.

We offer transportation options throughout SW MN with pick up locations in Cottonwood, Redwood, Lincoln, Lyon, Jackson, Nobles, Rock, Murray and Pipestone Counties.
We offer programming to help people meet their basic needs in the areas of Community, Family Services, Housing, and Transportation.
UCAP offers a variety of meaningful ways to donate your time and talents. We welcome groups and individuals of all abilities over the age of 16.

If you were approved for the program in the 2022-2023 season, the State of Minnesota will automatically mail out a new application for the new season starting October 1st, 2023.
