United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) offers Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), and last year alone helped
eligible people in our local community claim over 6 million dollars in tax refunds with over 2700 completed tax returns.
UCAP’s Tax Clinic has volunteer tax preparers who are certified and will do taxes free of charge for those
who are eligible.
There are income guidelines, and some complex tax returns are not able to be completed by the VITA program.
UCAP’s Tax Clinic is Offered Year-Round!
We offer both in-person and virtual tax clinics. We have locations across southwest Minnesota with
services such as completing and e-filing state, federal, and property tax/renter’s credit returns.
