Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) care is informal care provided by extended relatives such as grandparents, aunts/uncles, adult cousins, etc., or non-related community members like family friends or trusted neighbors. It can occur in the child’s home or in the caregiver’s home. It may be full or part-time, paid or unpaid care.
